"What lurks in the dark? It's a lonely night and you just need to make a quick rest stop. But the foul stench of evil threatens to make your trip to the lavatory a little unpleasant. You've heard the rumors, but you can't hold it forever..."
"T.P." was conceived by game designer David Antognoli. The concept was to create a small interactive virtual reality experience reminiscent of 80's/90's campy horror. The game consists of being trapped in a bathroom at a rest stop and figuring out how to escape. The player explores the bathroom, interacts with objects, and can "relieve themselves" wherever they please as attempt to leave the accursed bathroom.
T.P. is unique in that it is my first endeavor into VR. I have never had to think about "space" in the way that a VR game demands. To achieve proper sound design, I had to envision my entire body in a very small space. This meant very active reverb with fast reflections and fast reactionary sounds.
