"You are onboard a space ship that has encountered a part organic, part digital alien presence that feeds on chaos and stress. The alien has taken over the ship’s security system and afflicted the minds of the cryo-sleeping passengers with anxiety and negative thoughts. Avoid security measures and save the crew!"

Gameplay

Brain Agents is a video game in development for iOS and Android mobile devices designed to help youths improve their mental and emotional wellbeing by fostering resilience. The game combines stealth and platforming gameplay with wellbeing exercises such as cognitive reframing, focused breathing, and coping statements in an immersive sci-fi hero’s journey. The project is produced by STRYV365, a Milwaukee-based nonprofit that creates customized non-clinical trauma-informed programming.

Sound Therapy

Brain Agents gave me the opportunity to create sounds that served more than justan entertainment purpose. Being a game with therapeutic themes, I created music and sounds that reflect the emotional state the player. I used sound to alleviate stress, foster breathing techniques, and guide the player.
